A Sure-footed Clamping Solution

Admit it, the ideal woodworker would certainly have at least two extra hands. We've all been there: our wood is properly aligned as we attempt a critical glue-up & we move our hand from the wood to the business end of the pipe clamp and start to tighten & and the clamp begins to roll! The ensuing cascade effect soon has all the clamps rolling over and our carefully aligned glue-up is in shambles. That would be the perfect place for an extra hand: or better yet, Rockler Woodworking and Hardware's new Sure-Foot pipe clamp. With the simple addition of a wide base or "foot" Rockler has increased the effectiveness of that old shop standby - the pipe clamp - and elevated it to new heights.

I just love new products that solve true woodworking problems, and that is just what the Sure-Foot clamp does. Not only does additional width of the base add to the user-friendly nature of the clamp, but the base is taller as well - which allows easier turning of the crank-handle. It's clear to me that this clamp was designed by woodworkers.
The Sure-Foot has a built in hanging hook and has a hole bored in its clamping pads that allows you to attach your own custom clamping cauls securely with a screw. In every way this is a sure-win addition to any woodworker's shop. (Have you ever met a woodworker who thinks they have enough clamps? I didn't think so.)
