Akeda's new Model BC24 is a 24" variable pitch dovetail jig. Three fixed, dedicated clamping positions each serve one or more specific purposes that include through dovetails, half-blind dovetails, box joints and others. There's no need to compensate for stock thickness, which can vary from ¼-inch up to 1-inch. It is meant for construction of deep carcasses, such as blanket chests. Street price is $439.99.
