Be It Resolved

I am not a big believer in the idea that people spontaneously change in significant ways - as in the popular conception of a New Year's resolution, for example.
But I do think that people change, over time and with intention. Goal setting is something I can fully get behind. And as we start the new year, I have some woodworking goals I am hoping to achieve. How about you? Do you have a technique or a skill you would like to master? Hand cut dovetails? Decorative inlay? Putting a shine on your finishing skills?
If you do have such goals, then please allow me to make a recommendation: check out the Woodworker's Journal print magazine. My circulation department has a terrific subscription offer for eZine readers right now.
Now, it's possible that I am a bit biased … but, in my opinion, there is no better place to find woodworking information. From basic butt joints to hand cut dovetails, we have the best woodworkers in the country teaching techniques, answering your questions and offering advice.
For years, I have been resolute about bringing the best woodworking information available to the readers of Woodworker's Journal … this year, why don't you resolve to pick it up and give it a try?
