Bench Dog Push BlocThe Bench Dog® Push-Bloc™ (item from Rockler 42790) is a high-tech version of this shop fundamental, with an ergonomically correct handle and a high-friction rubber pad to alleviate awkward handles and designs that require an inordinate amount of pressure on a single point of contact. The non-slip, non-marring base provides a greater amount of surface contact with stock as you guide it through the cutting phase. "The Bench Dog Push-Bloc is a huge safety improvement over other tools because it combines keeping hands away from saw blades with giving the user better control over the stock while cutting," said Steve Krohmer, vice president for product development. The Bench Dog Push-Bloc sells for $9.99.
