Bosch Brute Tough Drill DriverAmong the first tools using Bosch's new Lithium-Ion High Capacity (HC) batteries is the Brute Tough™ Drill/Driver (DDH-181-01). The 1/2" chuck drill weighs in at 4.7 pounds and measures 8.25 x 9.9 inches. The motor is a four-pile high performance motor with patented all-metal gear train and clutch, and there's a built-in fuel gauge. With the new generation (Gen 2) of Bosch Lithium-Ion High Capacity batteries, the company is promising 50 percent longer runtime with operation down to minus-4 degrees Fahrenheit; the system is also compatible with Bosch SlimPack and FatPack 18-volt Lithium-Ion batteries. The DDH-181-01 Brute Tough Drill/Driver is selling for $288.
