Rob-Portrait

Life has been compared to a series of seasons, with change, ironically, being the most significant constant. My personal experience agrees with this metaphor — with some seasons being richer than others. This winter I will enter into a new phase, that I am thinking will be a game changer. My first grandchild is due in early February, and I am fast getting ready for her. I have a crib mattress and will be building a crib to go with it ASAP! Kids' furniture … I am on it. Puzzles: scroll saw, here I come. Building blocks, toy box, sled … I have been dreaming of building them since I got the word of her imminent arrival.

Which makes me think that many of you all have been through this same season at one time or another. If so, what was (or is) your favorite grandchild project(s)? Let me know. I could use a few more things to dream about.
