Celtic Knot French Rolling Pin

This is my Celtic Knot French Rolling Pin. The pins are approximately 20" long and about 1 5/8" in diameter. The lighter colored one is made from Hard Maple and Walnut. The darker one from Sapele, Walnut and Maple.  Although the Celtic Knot appears as an inlay, it is actually  made from solid strips of wood that pass completely through the rolling pin. The finish is simply multiple coats of pure mineral oil.

Thank you for the opportunity to share one of my favorite projects.
