As you can see, I am something of a pack rat myself. Searching for a project to make for the Antelope Valley Fair I started looking through my back issues of the Woodworkers Journal. I found this plan in the October, 2001 edition. I took some literary license and changed the design a tad and sized it to fit my two grandchildren, Hannah, 10, and Henry, 5. I built it out of clear red wood. I entered it in the Fair in August, 2011 and was lucky enough to earn a Blue Ribbon, (First Place) in the Amateur Furniture Division. I gave it to them after the fair so they could enjoy it the rest of the summer. I showed them how to take it apart it case they did not want to sit next to each other.

I have been a subscriber for over 20 years and have built many of your projects, including the wine rack, the streamer trunk, and several toys. Keep  up the good work.
