This is a cradle I made for my first grandchild.  It is made of cherry ends from a friend's cabinet project and has Brazilian rosewood "feather" vanes in the end panels also left from another friends project.  Although I have built cedar strip canoes this was my first furniture project.  I quickly learned to bend wood month to build it. The design is adapted from a lost and forgotten book.  Needless to say the designer's name is also lost. - Bruce Chamberlin, Saskatoon, Sk., Canada
