I built these for my daughter as a wedding present. They are both edge banded birch plywood finished with a Minwax stain and Helmsman polyurethane. Because my daughters house is small with a narrow hallway the 66 inch dresser was built to break down into four parts: top, base and the carcasses. The carcasses fit inside the base and are held together with a single bolt between them. The top is held down from the inside with wood screws. Now she wants matching night stands!
