Craftsman's latest 10" compound miter saw puts a new twist on fixed saw handles. Press a thumb latch, and the D-handle on this saw swivels to horizontal, vertical or 45º degree positions, so you can choose the orientation that offers maximum comfort and control. The aluminum saw table features positive miter detents at 0, 15, 22.5, 31.6 and 45º, and a quick-cam lever locks the base for all other miter angles. The saw will crosscut stock up to 2 5/8" thick and 5 1/2" wide when set at 90º or miter-cut 3 1/2"-wide stock at 45º. Tilt the saw to it's maximum 45º bevel angle and it will cut through a 2x6 or a 2x4 when set to a 45º compound miter angle. Accessories include left and right pull-out table extensions for supporting long work, a hold-down clamp, stop blocks, electric brake and dust bag. A spindle lock and externally accessible motor brushes make for easy blade changes and maintenance. Craftsman's 10" Compound Miter Saw with 3-Position Handle (model 21200) is in stores now and sells for $169.99. To learn more, call 800-932-3188 or visit www.sears.com/craftsman.
