Rob PortraitA few weeks ago, I mentioned that I was on a mission to get my very first project done for my, at that point in time, soon-to-be-born grandchild. The project was a youth-sized dresser with some Art Deco design accents. Since that writing, not only did I complete the dresser (just in time!), which worked out very well, but Maggie Lu made her entrance into the world as well. (Both mother and baby are doing great.)

As Miss Maggie is my first grandchild, I am certain that you will not be surprised that I find her to be the most attractive and talented baby I have ever seen. Not only that, but I am also convinced that she is already displaying a decided preference for her granddad, especially his fine lullaby singing. (Did I mention that she has good taste, too?)

Now I know that some of you, while you're totally fascinated with these tales of my grand baby, might want to know a bit more about the dresser. If so, check out my blog entry ... it is a nice little project, even if I do say so myself.
