Kate's hall chair now resides in Boston.  Kate needed a place for her husband and two boys to toss their shoes and coats.  The bulk of this project is cherry with two panels made of oak for contrast.  The bench has good storage inside.  I copied the dimensions from a plan using sheet stock and made this out of lumber we made from a large cherry tree that fell during a storm.  A tornado was looking for a trailer park but found my woods in Virginia instead!
