Hitachi’s NT50GS 18-Gauge finish nailer runs on a combination of a gas fuel cell and a 3.6-volt lithium-ion battery to drive fasteners ranging from 5/8-inch to two inches in length. The magazine capacity is 100 nails, and the 0.6-oz. fuel rods have a life of 1,200 shots each. The NT50GS, which has a suggested retail price of $299, also comes with a bonus lithium-ion screwdriver.
