Imitation Antique Cut Nails

It's a simple matter to make imitation cut nails. File he heads of any size flathead nails to an irregular rectangle, then put them in a jar with some salt, vinegar, and a little water. After a few days the nails will rust and darken, looking very much like old cut nails.
