Ipe Oil™ is a new deck finish for decks made from exotic hardwood. It comes from the Ipe Clip® Fastener Company and is designed to be an invisible, stain-resistant finish with transoxide pigments for U.V. protection that will work on ipe, cumaru and other oily exotics. Its V.O.C. rating is less than 250 grams per liter. A gallon sells for $52.
