Light-Duty ClampA pair of ordinary pliers can be converted into a light-duty clamp by adding a rubber band to the handles as shown. Should you need more clamping pressure, simply add one or two more rubber bands. You could also use a pair of long-nose pliers if you are clamping in a tight spot.
