Low-Cost Dust Collection Control System

In trying to have my dust collector outside the workshop I looked at remote control systems.

This proved difficult and expensive so instead a friend advised that I use an old tram bell system where I mounted a pull-on/pull-off switch at the far end of my shop with a cord running full length.  I am able to take branch lines off for particular machines.

I just have to reach up wherever I am in the shop to turn the system on or off; safe reliable, cheap and easy
