I made this Morris Chair entirely of Ash (except the plywood under the seat.) I had the cushions made by the upholster who does the work for Hardwood Artisans. I built it from a plan bought from American Furniture Design Co.

Note:I am 6'2" and the arms turned out to be 1"-2" to low for perfect comfort. Now I know why some designs for this type have rails at about armpit level--a bit extreme for a reader.
