This is my first game board.  I was given complete creative design on this chinese checkers.  It was also my first attempt at a double-double box joint and also veneering.  I am really excited at how it turned out.  I used walnut, maple, cherry, and oak.  It was finished with 6 coats of hand rubbed polyurethane with sandings between every other coat.

I applied the veneer because I thought the chinese checker side and the chess board side was too busy, so adding the veneer made for a not so busy top.  The demensions is 14 inches square and 3.5 inches tall.  I had lots of fun making this game board.
