Tormek Rotating Base RB180Since some tools are best sharpened with the stone running toward the edge, and others with the stone running away from the edge, Tormek has introduced the Rotating BaseRB-180, which allows you to rotate your Tormek sharpening machine 180 degrees to select the ideal sharpening direction, or to switch from sharpening to honing. The RB-180 has rubber feet to keep it steady during sharpening and absorb vibration. It automatically locks into position. The platform is designed within a frame, manufactured as thin as possible so as not to affect working height. The RB-180 will fit the Tormek T-7 and T-3, the 2000 and 1200 Series, and ht eSA-250 and N-1500. The manufacturer's recommended price is $55.
