A single-button switch changes the 3.25hp router from fixed to plunge-base, while a three-stage, pre-set height adjustment system allows the plunge return spring to be removed quickly for easy adjustment when mounted in a router table. It accepts both 1/4" and 1/2" shank router bits, and the automatic spindle lock will only engage when the power safety switch cover is closed, preventing the tool from being accidentally switched on during bit changes.
