"Walnut Ripple" Table

This is a little coffee table my grandson and I made for his mom for Christmas.  We call it "Walnut Ripple".

The top slab was rescued from the burnpile after milling a few logs.  We preserved the natural edge where we could, and even had to leave a shallow chainsaw mark on one edge, but liked the small slab and it fit the small area it was made for.

We also shellacked the pictures of doing the project to the bottom of the shelf.
