Rob-PortraitThe ways to learn about woodworking are always changing. And I could not be more pleased to announce that Woodworker's Journal has just added another opportunity for our readers to get great woodworking information: an iPad app. (For now, it's not available for Android … that will come later.)

Our first iPad app is a really great multimedia Power Tool Tune-Up app that takes advantage of Sandor Nagyszalanczy's expertise. Anyone who owns a stationary power tool will benefit from this app. It is replete with illustrations, photos and video. The text is comprehensive and easy to understand. I am excited that our eZine readers are the first to know about this launch: you all have always been at the leading edge of woodworking media. I can't wait to hear what you think about it.

Rob Johnstone, Woodworker's Journal

P.S. Please take a moment to look at the JET offerings featured in this eZine. JET is sponsoring this issue of the eZine to kick off their first effort in what will basically be a year of new tools. I recently met with a highly placed JET executive, and he said that they have tons of brand-new tools that they will be sequentially rolling out, starting with the 12" table saw in this issue's Tool Preview. From one tool junkie to another — this is great news!
