Banksia Nut Bit HolderI bet you never saw a bit holder turned from a banksia nut! Anyway, I filled the holes with epoxy resin, which was a big pain because it took so long to harden. What else can I fill the holes with? - Brian Humbel

Joanna Werch Takes: You can also try wood putty, or create your own mixture of sawdust and CA [cyanoacrylate] glue. Or you could check out colored InLace; kits include a can of InLace resin and a hardener. And, if you'd ever like to try epoxy again, you'll want to check out finishing expert Michael Dresdner's article in the upcoming September/October print issue of Woodworker's Journal, which is all about the topic.
