Laguna Revo Lathe MiniLatheLaguna’s MLA10X16-1/2-0130 Revo 10x16 Mini Lathe is a part of their new line of Revo Lathes. Made of cast-iron, the lathes in this line are powered by Servo motors. For the Revo 10x16 Mini Lathe, that motor is 1/2hp, with a 110 voltage and 3 amps. It's an electronic variable speed motor with low speed of 300-900 rpm, mid speed of 600 to 1,800 rpm and high speed of 1,200 to 3,600 rpm. Laguna says that the Revo Lathes have more torque at both higher and lower rpm than other lathes, as well as less vibration and more mass. The Revo 10x16 Mini Lathe also includes a digital readout and a poly-groove belt with a three-speed quick-change system. It has a 5" swing and a 10" turning capacity, with a maximum distance between centers of 17". The inboard faceplate measures 3-1/8" with a 1" spindle, with the outboard faceplate measuring 4-1/4" with a 3/4" spindle. The Revo 10x16 Mini Lathe is priced at $499.
