Abranet Sandpaper Replacement

It seems like most woodworkers still use conventional sandpaper for their projects.

I was recently introduced to a product called Abranet. It is extensively used in the motor  panel beating industry and ranges from grit 80 to 400 (maybe even higher?).

It is absolutely wonderful to work with, doesn’t tear, is pliable and lasts about 10X longer than normal sandpaper. Once it’s clogged, just shake a few times and it’s like new again.

Another feature is that it sticks to the “spiky” side of Velcro®.

Hope this helps!
