Gator® Ultra Power Premium Sandpaper with Black Zirconium

Gator Ultra Power Premium Series sandpapers with Black Zirconium, from Ali Industries, are designed to be used on power sanders. They say the use of the  hard manmade material black zirconium (sometimes known as cubic zirconium) makes these sandpapers shaprer and harder than aluminum oxide grits, to cut faster and hold the cutting edge longer. The Ultra Power series comes in various configurations and is available at hardware stores; pricing on packs for 5” random orbit sanders, for example, starts at a four-pack for $4.99.

Craftsman 4-1/8” Bench Top Jointer/Planer

The Craftsman 4-1/8” Bench Top Jointer/Planer (model number 21789) is designed for woodworkers doing smaller projects. It has a granite table sized at 28-1/2” w x 4-1/4” d, with a 22-7/16” fence that adjusts from 90 to 45 degrees outward for accurate chamfers and bevels.
