GOAL: To learn how to cut and join sections of wood veneer and how to glue the assembled veneers to a stable substrate by using a shop-made press.
Veneer is an ancient and honorable material, long used for the finest furniture and interiors. With veneer, you have access to the rarest and most beautiful material in the world of wood, and you can create a panel that is dimensionally stable and therefore structurally sound.
