A River in Egypt

Some long-time readers of this weekly message may have noticed a dearth of encouragement regarding holiday gift building. Usually by this time of year, this editorial space has been filled with good words and uplifting sentiment regarding your efforts and mine.

This year, not so much.

That is because, in the current annum, my efforts at concepting my gifts have been far advanced of my gift building efforts. (Let’s just say that while there are many presents in the concept stage … there are none in the state one might describe as “completed.”)

And yet, as I write this editorial, I am not anxious or concerned. How is that possible, you may ask? Denial … pure and simple.

So with no further ado, I will transition from writing this missive to thinking up a strategy that will get those gifts built. I guess I need to get into the shop.
