Easier Nail Setting

Nifty trick I learned several years ago. When using finishing nails, drill a shallow pilot hole, then replace the bit in the chuck with the nail. “Screw” the nail into your project. The pilot hole helps to stabilize the nails which may wobble at first.  A grip on the chuck and a quick reverse will loosen the nail. Once all your nails are in place and the piece is stable, set your nails.
