Making a More Mobile Workshop with Less Clamping

Making a More Mobile Workshop with Less Clamping

I work out of a shared garage, my shop during the day and a parking spot at night for my wife’s car. I came up with a plan for my major tools, table saw and shaper on a roll around cart and my jointer and portable table saw/dedicated dado set-up on a fold down table. I had difficulty clamping the jointer and table saw down to the table, so I went to the dollar store and picked up roll of anti-slip webbing material that goes under rugs or could be used as a kitchen cabinet liner. I cut a piece of the liner about 6” longer than the jointer and place it on the table and the jointer on top and the jointer stays put, no clamping necessary!
