This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 6, Issue 3, Page 35. May/Jun 1982. This plan explains (with the aid of a seris of comprehensive drawings) how
to make traditional wooden band saw boxes of various dimensions, species and
shapes. A well-seasoned log, a sharp band saw blade, some glue and sandpaper
are all that's needed to make one of these beautiful little boxes with their
hidden seams and air of mystery... "how in heck did he make that?".
