This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 19, Issue 4, Page 50. Jul/Aug 1995. Here's a wonderful walnut box to hold all of a man's most personal possessions
- a few family photos, maybe an old letter or two, his watch, cufflinks, Dad's
old service medals and so on. It is held together with lock miter joints (a
simple process with the right router bit), and the lid hosts a beautiful bird's-eye
maple insert. Removeable trays open up more storage, and the interior is covered
in velvet.
Approx: 7-3/8" x 14-3/4" x 5-1/2" tall.
