Chair Table - 18th Century (5:2:26)
Chair Table - 18th Century (5:2:26) This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 5, Issue 2, Page 26. Mar/Apr 1981.

This is a colonial-style chair that becomes a table (or the other way around!) when space is at a premium. This makes a wonderful student's desk because it can be stored as a chair against the dorm wall during the day, and transformed into a 28 x 36" desk in the evening. Joinery is mortise and tenon, with pegs.
