If you like dovetailing, this is a good project for you. This is a classic
colonial blanket chest, built of pine with a clear finish on the outside and
a painted interior. There's no reason you couldn't line the inside with aromatic
cedar, too. The top makes a great seat when you're putting on socks, and the
scalloped feet give the chest an air of antiquity. Intermediate woodworking
skills are all you need here, as the plan includes plenty of advice and illustrations
