Blanket Chest - Early American (10:5:45)
Blanket Chest - Early American (10:5:45) This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 10, Issue 5, Page 45. Sep/Oct 1986.

How early is Early American? The original version of this chest dates all the way back to 1792. From its bracket feet and ogee moldings to its large drawer and even larger well, this attractive chest is as useful as it is good-looking. The drawer is dovetailed, but substitute a simpler joint and this becomes a project for all skill levels.
