This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 17, Issue 2, Page 42. Mar/Apr 1993. A scaled-down version of a standard 7 foot tall colonial piece, this plan calls
for poplar (to keep costs in line) stained with an antique finish. The movement
is battery-powered quartz (and you should have it in hand before you begin to
build). This was designed to be more in scale with a child's bedroom, and there's
a neat storage compartment in the clock's waist, where the pendulum and weights
on a winding movement would have gone.
Approx: 8-7/8" x 15-1/4" x 61" Tall.
