This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 16, Issue 2, Page 54. Mar/Apr 1992. We all use the modern version of these clamps in our shops - hard maple with
a metal threaded rod and some specialty hardware. But think of the pleasure
you'll feel when, on your next assembly, you use a pair of handscrew clamps
that you build yourself - all solid hardwood right down to the threaded hardwood
screws and the laminated jaws.
Approx: 2-1/4'' x 16'' , and about 20'' when the screws are fully
extended.
