This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 9, Issue 5, Page 45. Sep/Oct 1985. A hall tree provides a place to sit and remove shoes or boots, and a spot to
hang coats, scarves and hats. It also provides a handy eye-level mirror to check
your look as you head out the door. This version, based on a Victorian example
that has been in continuous use for over a century, is relatively easy to build.
Woodworkers with a couple of years experience under their belt will have no
problems tackling its band- sawn parts, tongue and groove joints, and a few
small mortises and tenons.
Approx: 15-1/2" x 25" x 75" tall
