Hamper - Early American Beaded Frame (10:6:26)
Hamper - Early American Beaded Frame (10:6:26) This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 10, Issue 6, Page 26. Nov/Dec 1986.

Tight knots and a nice grade of pine with straight grain are the keys to the visual appeal of this traditional piece. The hamper has a few modern twists, too. For example, the back is made out of perforated pegboard, to allow the laundry to breathe. The joinery here is relatively easy: the front is frame and panel construction with a beading detail, while the sides are simply glued up and band or jig sawed to shape.
