This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 18, Issue 3, Page 46. May/Jun 1994. Here's a decent-sized hardwood coffee table with bun feet, frame and panel
sides and six HUGE drawers to hide everything from magazines to remote control
clickers, silverware, placemats, photo albums and other fairly flat items. The
plan calls for some dovetail joints on the drawers (made with a router and jig,
or by hand if you're feeling adventurous!), and a few tongue and groove joints
on the carcass. The tabletop is edge-glued solid stock with a bead along the
edge.
Approx: 35-1/2" x 35-1/2" x 15-3/4"
