This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 17, Issue 4, Page 31. Jul/Aug 1993. Colonial cabinetmakers figured out that a corner cabinet maximizes storage
space while minimizing the amount of useful floor space occupied. This very
traditional design features a large storage space below with a flush-mounted
raised panel door, and three shelves above. Aside from stile and rail joinery
for the door, the cabinet calls for lots of miters and scroll (band or jig saw)
work. Throw in a few mortise and tenon joints and you have a thoroughly enjoyable
shop workout.
Approx: 20" along each wall and 74-1/2" high
