This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 9, Issue 6, Page 36. Nov/Dec 1985. Both the design and the construction of this family-sized dining table are
remarkably simple. The joinery calls for miters and splines, all of which can
be handled on the table saw. The top is an edge-glued assembly of 1-1/4"
thick solid hardwood, but it could just as easily be a hardwood plywood circle,
edged with veneer tape. Contrasting walnut splines add a little pizzazz to the
oak legs.
Approx: 47" diameter x 30" high
