This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 10, Issue 1, Page 50. Jan/Feb 1986.Following an original now on display at the Hancock Shaker Village, this reproduction
is a handsome drop-leaf table with tapered legs and four small drawers for cutlery
and napkins. The joinery calls for dovetails, mortise and tenon joints, a couple
of rule joints in the tabletop and those aforementioned tapered legs. This is
actually not a very complicated plan, and intermediate to advanced woodworkers
will have a thoroughly good time with it.
