This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 10, Issue 4, Page 31. Jul/Aug 1986.Fine collectibles deserve an attractive display case, and this one definitely
fits the bill. It's a contemporary cherry cabinet with adjustable glass shelves
and splined and mitered doors with safety glass panels. The top and bottom edges
of the sides are mitered too, adding visually to the theme. This is not an especially
difficult project: the most challenging aspect perhaps is the sliding dovetails
used to assemble the case. It is, however, very enjoyable.
