This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 18, Issue 5, Page 38. Sep/Oct 1994. Fire up the lathe beacuse here's the ultimate turning project, a beautiful
rocking cradle that follows the form of an original in the renowned Wallace
Nutting collection at Berea College in Kentucky. Use the full-size patterns
for all the turned parts, follow the very detailed, measured drawings to create
the joints (mostly mortise and tenon), and have a terrific time building a project
that actually looks a whole lot harder than it really is. Oh yes, you'll also
find out who Jenny Lind was...
Approx: 24" deep x 36" wide x 38" tall.
