This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 16, Issue 6, Page 64. Nov/Dec 1992. Designed for a little girl's favorite doll, the design for this traditional
canopy four-poster bed is flexible enough to be easily customized to fit different
sized dolls. The joinery involves tapered legs, a couple of mortise and tenons,
and some threaded inserts. There's also a little scroll or band saw work in
the head and foot boards, and most woodworkers might need a little help with
the canopy and mattress. A great project for a granddad with a tapering jig
and a little patience, this one is sure to light up the eyes of any little girl.
Approx: 14'' x 22'' x 18'' high
