This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 19, Issue 6, Page 46. Nov/Dec 1995. This is a reproduction of a 1925 spoke-wheeled Post Office delivery van, complete
with metal gauze radiator grill and running boards. What makes it extra special
is that it's designed to accommodate a door on the back that used to be a Post
Office box door. (As these doors have varied so much over the years, make sure
you buy your surplus door before you begin. A source is listed.) This door turns
the whole truck into a child's first savings bank. Absolutely charming, and
relatively easy to build.
Approx: 11" long
