This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 8, Issue 1, Page 36. Jan/Feb 1984. The clean, simple lines of this handsome little table are unmistakably influenced
by Shaker designs. The tapered legs, graceful dimensions and dovetailed drawer
complete the picture. Joinery here is essentially mortise and tenon, though
there are a few hidden screws. The top is edge-glued, and the ends are then
beveled to give it a lighter, more delicate look. This is a very desirable piece
of furniture.
